Xuan Thuy National Park in Ninh Binh province is one of the three national parks of Vietnam recognised as an ASEAN Heritage Park at the 18th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment (AMME-18) in Langkawi, Malaysia.

In recent years, national parks and nature reserves across the country have been offering an increasing variety of ecotourism tours focused on wildlife conservation.
